Q: How did you get into parkour?

A: My brother and his friend found out about Parkour soon after learning how to do handsprings. I didn’t think much of it, but soon I decided to get into it. It went really slow and wasn’t a major part of my life until the beginner jam we had a couple years ago. Then I knew what I wanted and started going to the classes at The Spot.

Q: What is your most memorable parkour moment?

A: Most definitely the COPK national jam. The people there were awesome and I got to do amazing things right along side of them.

Q: What do you like most about parkour?

A: Parkour opened my eyes to a world where walking down the street isn't just walking anymore. I love that. It shows me just how much I know my body and what limitations I can break just by being passionate about it. Parkour is fun! There is nothing more fluid and exciting.

Q: If you could go anywhere in the world for parkour, where would it be?

A: Wherever Parkour is. It doesn’t mean much for me to go to Europe for it, since there are great places in the US. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to go to the places David Belle trained. Anywhere where there are tons of underbars would be great.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to share with other traceurs?

A: Quit showing off. I always get hurt when I show off. Do it for your own sake. Remember that you’re not the only one who will pay the consequences for showing people the wrong view of Parkour. A lot of people need the right view and that is your task.
