Colorado School of Mines
Golden, Colorado

Conditions - The conditions of the Mines campus are good. Everything is well built and safe to practice on. On the weekends and during summers, the campus is virtually abandoned.

Security - For the most part, there are no security issues on campus. The campus police have been exposed and talked to about parkour before and are ok with it as long as you do not go on the roofs. In other security aspects, the campus is located in a nice, safe area so there is no reason to worry about theft or shady characters milling about.

Obstacles - At the Mines campus, there is a wide variety of all obstacles from rails to trees to walls to rocks. It is a medium sized campus and to see all of the potential, you will need to walk around and explore all areas and corners of the campus. Here you will find all varieties and difficulties of obstacles. A great place for beginners to learn at, Mines also offers some challenging obstacles for the more advanced.

Features: Trees, rails, ramp areas around most buildings.
Lacks: Not much.

Overall - The Mines campus is a sizeable place and therefore, only portions of it can be sessioned at a time. This is great because you train new things every day. The campus is usually busy in the day and abandoned in the evening but any time is a good time for parkour. The only drawback to parkour at Mines is the fact that good spots are spread out. However, if you don't mind covering some ground between training areas, its no big deal at all.
