Park Place and the CU East Campus
31st St. and Marine St., Boulder, Colorado
Conditions - The Park Place office complex and the CU
East Campus stretch a few blocks to the south starting at 31st and Arapahoe. Parking on the campus section is
free during the weekend and at nights. Everything is well kept and if you need it, there is water and bathrooms
in the campus buildings and there is a gas station right next to Park Place.

Security - During the day and especially on week days, there are students, employees, and
other people in the area. Because of this, you are more likely to run into trouble during these times
because more people results in more unwanted attention or misunderstanding. The whole area is pretty deserted on
nights and weekends. However, you will notice several security vehicles in the Park Place parking lot. Don't
be alarmed though, the security patrol company has its headquarters in the building and leaves some of their
vehicles there permanently. At nights and on weekends, you are highly unlikely to run into any security
issues as long as you stay smart and stick to ground level obstacles.

Obstacles - There is a great variety of obstacles
in this area. Park Place offers the most and best things to do. Here you will find courtyard areas surrounding the
building that have close and condensed portions of walls of all shapes, sizes, and angles. Many of these
walls are so close that you can practice all kinds of different things in one small area. Some of these
movements include, tic tac to cats, cat leaps, cat to cats, precision jumps, vault to cats, and vault to precisions.
The obstacles are much more spread out on the East Campus, but you can still find rails, picnic tables, walls,
and interesting roof tops to practice all kinds of movements.
Features: Close and condensed obstacles, roof gaps.
Lacks: Not much.

Overall - Overall, this area is a great place to train.
Park Place in particular offers an awesome variety of obstacles. With some creativity, you can drill
almost every movement and common combination here. The East Campus also has a good variety, the only downside is
that it isn't condensed together in a small area.
