Parkour Fundamentals Class
Saturday - 11 AM-1 PM
$15 drop-in fee OR 10 week program for $110
The Parkour Fundamentals Class is an introduction to parkour and parkour specific fitness.
Highly structured and designed to progress from week to week, this class explores the fundamentals
of parkour, promotes a high level of physical fitness, and emphasizes
the relationship between the two.
We highly recommend the Parkour Fundamentals class be taken in its entirety due to
its thorough and progressive nature. Upon completion, participants might be ready to
enroll in the Intermediate Class.
8/30/08 - Week 1: Parkour fitness testing, basic parkour fitness
9/06/08 - Week 2: Rolls, landings, quadrupedal movement
9/13/08 - Week 3: Gymnastics
9/20/08 - Week 4: Jumping
9/27/08 - Week 5: Arm jumps, climb ups
10/04/08 - Week 6: Vaults
10/11/08 - Week 7: Tic tacs, wall runs
10/18/08 - Week 8: Underbars
10/25/08 - Week 9: Parkour fitness testing, skills review, combos and linking
11/01/08 - Week 10: Outside training
Intermediate Parkour Class
Saturday - 1 PM-3 PM
$15 drop-in fee OR 10 weeks pre-paid for $110
The Intermediate Class is designed to challenge participants who are comfortable with the
fundamentals of parkour and possess a high fitness level. Through repetition and
skill refinement, participants learn more difficult parkour and freerunning skills. Additionally,
participants will be expected to complete more difficult workouts. Dedication to conditioning and
skills training outside of class is necessary to progress at this level.
Participants may enroll in the Intermediate Class after completing the Parkour Fundamentals
Class and receiving instructor approval. If the participant wishes to enroll without completion
of the Parkour Fundamentals class, they may meet with the instructors to determine readiness.
