10.10.2006 | Law Week Colorado Article
Over the summer, I was approached by Law Week Colorado to do an interview for a parkour article. Immediately I was hesitant due to the nature and audience of the publication. However, after talking with the reporter, his good intentions were clear. The result is a short but informational article on parkour featuring an interview by Demon. The article portrays parkour in a very respectful manner to an important audience. However, the use of copyrighted and non-Colorado photos is a little puzzling. » View «

09.06.2006 | The Spot SummerFest 2006 Video
The video from The Spot SummerFest 2006 is finally done. The video is over eighteen minutes long and was intended to document the entire day which was such a milestone for COPK. Unfortunately the planning of the freerunning demo was entirely compacted into the morning of which made it difficult to do everything we wanted to do or could have done. However, the crowd was receptive and with the time we were given, it went relatively well. The video documents everything from the planning stages to the freerunning demo to what went down in the rest of the event. I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone at La Sportiva, The Spot, and MonoSculpt for all their help and the great opportunity they gave us. To view the video, go to the media section or click here.

The audience was mainly full of rock climbers and they were very receptive and interested in the movement. Thanks to The Spot and La Sportiva for their help in putting together the demo. The entire event was great and the demo is sure to increase interest in the Boulder parkour scene. A full write up and video footage are coming soon.

08.07.2006 | Boulder Excursion
Today, Sat and I got some good training in at Bear Creek. We also tried to train at NCAR. Everyone who plans on ever jamming at NCAR, do not go during the week! We got hassled by security guard almost immediately and later on, got accused of trying to break into a building and were then asked to leave. What a crock of shit. We didn't feel like dealing with them so we left. If you are going to go to NCAR, do so on the weekend.
